Can anybody recommend a decent quality, fair price digital caliper. I have a regular type but even with contacts it's getting harder to read the older I get. I looked on Amazon and there are so many to choose from it's overwhelming. Not looking to spend Starrett money here if I don't have to.

I prefer a dial caliper myself, better yet micrometer's are even better.

Look on ebay for a good used one. I bought a nice fowler max cal for a good price.
