My P15 came with scope rail mounting screws that were only 10mm long, which amounted to very little thread engagement and were prone to stripping. The front one was actually stripped by the factory. After careful measuring I found that a m3 x 14mm fits perfectly when a lock washer is used. Without a lock washer the M3 x 14mm is slightly too long. With 1 lock washer it perfectly uses all available thread to securely clamp while the head is still countersunk in the scope rail.
I also added aluminum spacers/inserts into the stock mounting holes. The wood stock is somewhat soft so I didn't want to risk overtightening the mounting screws--I will be spending a lot of time tuning and the stock will be removed/replaced rather frequently. These were purchased from McMaster Carr-- they are aluminum spacers for #12 screw, 3/8" diameter. The front one is 1/2 inch long, the rear is 3/4 inch long. I drilled the factory holes out with a 3/8 bit, coated the walls with epoxy and the spacers went in with a slight interference fit.
