I have read a lot about the qb78 but I haven't seen much about the xs60, which rifle would be the best choice for a first co2 rifle? It seems like parts and upgrades are available for the qb78. Thanks

The 60c is new so there are not many aftermarket parts that you can get right now, but I have started missing around with the one that I own. From what I see I think that I (and I say I is because I"M new to CO2 guns) will be limited to some mod because the frame is totally different than the 78.
The transport is within the frame so it make hard to tap. I will though open the barrel port up a little bigger than factory sooon. It came with a bulk adaptor so I went to a local weld shop and they had the 1/8 nipple.Next it will be a tank and than quick connect hose than I"m ready for bulk.
Trigger is a rough at first be it get a little better. The manual said that you could adjust the triggger force which I did but it does little to inprove the force. I do know that I will aslo be taking it apart and gaving it a good cleaning and polishing because the 60c has the same trigger type minus the safety.
The bolt is like the XP bolt from ^&$@_=s and is nice to pull back on "not to hard and to soft", but I think I would like to get more on the soft side so A new spring is on the need to do list.
The valve looks to be the same as a QB78 but minus the screen and filter. So I'm looking into trying different materials for the value stem. Read on another forum that someone had trouble with vavle lock when bulking. Not saying it's true but I don't want that. The tube is only 7.5 inches.
The hammer is different than the QB78 and it comes with a heavy spring. I need to do more research on it before I will know what I'm going to do with it. although the manul says it is adjustable.
In all I think that it is a GOOOOD GUN but it will need some work just Like the QB78. I will just have to wait to see to other members will come up to sell because I have just basic tools no lather, mills,..etc. AND BY THE WAY THANKS MR. MIKE AT B.A. FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. will post pics when computer let me downloud

That's easy, if you want to shoot a lot (400-500)..get the 79, if you like good looks and a shooter for 30-40 shoots get the 78 and something new..get the 60 or get all because you will never have a peace of mind until you have all 3.

Glad you posted Jackson about the 60
I have a young lad that I want to fix up with either the 60 or the QB
I need it to get as close to 12fpe in .177 as possible as we will be doing Field Target with it.
I hope we hear more about the 60 soon as Christmas is coming & it appears to be coming FAST! at least to me... lol
