I don't have the room nor the clearance from trees to do this.
I have to talk to a neighbor about shooting from his drive way before I attempt it.
Given the holdover would be a ballistic nightmare? I'll need to add the FX No Limit rings to the new scope.
I also plan to use the camera from a Drone I shot up to aid me in the attempt.
Plans are to use the Hatsan Nova .25 with the new Optima 8-32X50 scope.
I paced the distance off for now but will laser it if I get permission to shoot from his drive way.
I figure roughly 230 yards to the tree line.

Had a nice chat with my neighbor.
He's well aware of my shooting of Air Guns and I have full permission to plan the shooting attempts.
He's also interested in being involved with the attempt.
He'd be a witness and a spotter.

If you keep the range at 200 yards, you can use the standard NUAH target, the 6-ring measures 4 MOA.... Further than that, if you want a "proper" sized target, you will need larger paper so that the complete 4 MOA ring is on it.... it won't fit on 8.5" x 11".... At 230 yards your 4 MOA ring could be 9.2" diameter....
Glad your neighbour is on board....

I can get a bigger target printed if need be.
I have no interest in anything but the center of a qualifying target.
At 200 yards that's about 2 inches right?

You must have the 4 MOA ring in tact on whatever target you use.... Presumably that is so that any impacts can be seen.... For Master you will need a 2 MOA ring, for Expert 3 MOA.... At 200 yards I would suggest your target have rings that are 4", 6" and 8", the 2" X-ring is not required except for aiming....

Got it on ring sizes.
The ground is not level so going to do some GPS work to calculate how much lower then the target I'll be shooting from.
If it was a level range Chairgun tells me I'd need to have a 55 inch or so high arc at around 110 yards to be near zero for 200 yards. does that sound about right?
If that puts me close, I'll set a target out and adjust the FX No limit rings to account for that.
POA would be the base of a 6 foot target and adjusted to get the POI 6 foot higher at 100 yards or so.

6 feet of height change in 200 yards is so small no compensation is needed for an uphill or downhill shot.... A average airgun shot drops about 20-25 MOA at 100 yards from the boreline…. and somewhere around 100-150 MOA at 200 yards.... 55" above LOS at 110 sounds like a lot for sighted at 200, unless your MV is very low....

I had the FPS set at 820 in Chairgun. I'll need to chrony again to get the exact FPS.
At 900 FPS I get closer to a 46" high arc. That's with the JSB 25.40 Kings.

Yep at 900fps with Kings about 46" high arc, with 148" drop from the boreline at 200 yards.... That is the angle to set in your No Limit Rings (~140 MOA) to put you on target at 200 yards and be on optical zero with the scope (approximately)….

That arc may allow me to clear some brush out back to take practice shots from the back room.
Max I can get is maybe 170 or 180 yards. I have a bell that I'll measure to get a feed back from and work on setting up device sharing to place some stuff to see/record things.
