Vortek tune kit on the way, and a question about XS25-S safety

Getting ready to tune my Xisico XS25-S that I had no intention of keeping (you know how that goes...shoot a coupla pellets & fall in love!), pulled the stock, took off the little plastic cap on end of receiver and removed the safety. I did know better than to mess with trigger group (for now), but I stumbled trying to replace that safety. Anybody help me?

I think there's a 50 yr old Crosman 1400 hiding in this house somewhere!

This is a diagram of the of the T05 trigger unit. The part numbered EC274 is probably sitting at an angle in the unit. You need to move it with a small screwdriver, so it sits central because the safety needs to be pushed in over it. This is probably what's stopped it sliding in.

Thanks, Brian. I got that figured, but the safety is difficult to move back & forth while in place. Probably loose enough to work once the rifle is reassembled, but not by hand. Thanks for the diagram, too! Saving it...
