Trying to get this thing sighted in.
The top row is my D34. I had to reclaim my sanity after messing with the Elite for so long and to prove it wasnt just me.
The bottom row is from the Elite. I have a drooper mount on it along with 4 pop can shims and im still towards the top of the elevation adjustment. Does this look like that's the issue based on the shots? If it is, what should i do?
I will be running it through the chrono tomorrow.

Velocity variations usually result in vertical stringing. You could have a bad piston seal or a bad breech seal but more suspect would be your barrel having some droop. You may be able to correct the problem with some careful filing, droop mounts, or bending the barrel.

Ran a chrono. How do these numbers look? Too big of a spread?

You seem to have somewhat of an increase in velocity over the string. Your piston seal (or your gun) could still be breaking in.

What pellets on the chono string?
Have you tried the "tissue test" where you lay a small piece of tissue over the breach joint before you fire? If the tissue pops off, try shimming the breach seal by putting dental floss or similar material under it.

I put after market AR15 battle sights on mine, I couldn't get it to group using two different scopes, after the "peeps" they all group nice and tight now. I don't know how many pellets you have through it, but Thomas has a good point, mine took a while to break in. After it did I broke it down and did a quick lube tune to it, ( it was kinda dry), and checked out the internals. It isn't as harsh as it was before and a lot quieter and consistant now.
PS. I use Crosman 10.5's in it and that helped alot using a heaver pellet.

Here's my update. I'm a pretty impatient guy...lol, so I tore into this yesterday. I spent around 5 hours and here's what I did and the results.
Hopefully it helps others.
1. Optically centered the scope in the mirror
2. Bent the barrel and got my poi up really close to my poa. It took ALOT of bending. No wonder why this rifle was sent back and resold.
3. Cleaned the barrel with jb bore paste and a nylon brush. 100 passes. 1 pass = In/Out from breech to bore and back.
4. Followed up with some goo gone patches till clean, then denatured alcohol followed by a lightly oiled patch followed by a few dry ones.
5. Pulled the seal to check it. The lip looked a little bit flat on one side so i replaced it with a seal i got from ARH. It was a softer seal and fit way better.
6. Ran it through the chrono and my numbers were around 50fps higher than with the vortek seal.
After some shots over the chrony i punched some paper and really liked the results.
This is shooting H&N FTT 4.52mm 8.64grain.
We will see if this was just luck. Only time will tell.
Thanks to Roadworthy for the assistance.
