Great write up. Thank you. Does your XS-25 "uncock" like your B26 does? I have an airhawk/XS25 which uncocks the same way you describe.
I see your cats are quite the hunters.

some of the chinese guns do retain their value... just ask anyone with a B40... that gun sells (when available) for close to what it went new... i got a .177, and no, its not for sale.lolThe b26 is a fantastic value... and if you are handy, it can give a R9 a run for its money...

Recently I bought one that spiralgroove tuned, it's everything I knew one of these rifles could be. That is the difference in "handy".

You know, you're ahead just buying a tuned gun .You don't know how many hours I spent tuning and re-finishing that B51. You're better off working a few hours overtime and buying vs. DIY.

You're better off working a few hours overtime and buying vs. DIY.This is the lesson I have learned. That is also the advice I give to new shooters, buy a used airgun that has already been loved on instead of a new one, unless you're ready to start off with a high end PCP. Newb advice #2 - if you don't want to work on your rifle, don't buy a chinese rifle unless it's fully tuned. I think this one is even valid for most Euro springers for best performance.
Agreed! Apologies to the OP, I just realized I derailed your thread with chatter!
