!!! WARNING THIS VIDEO CONTAINS HUNTING FOOTAGE - IF THIS TYPE OF CONTENT OFFENDS YOU, THEN DO NOT WATCH!!!
In this episode we take a look at the Walther Parrus from Umarex USA. We are not new to this airgun, in fact its one of our old-time favorites. Its German built, has great accuracy, and good power. Its a traditional spring gun that just need pellets and elbow grease to operate. It gets the job done for us every time.
It's a great time to be an Airgunner!!!!

I just watched this having the Parrus (and Terrus--really recent springers for me) in .177. My only test is longevity on both rifles because they work absolutely flawlessly. The ones I have are both .177 and Beach Wood (I will always opt for wood over synthetic--personal thing). I use only lead heavies in them, Crossman Premier 10.5gr. Lighter pellets work just as they are supposed to, faster. I prefer using the heaviest pellet for all my airguns except for the target ones. My Beeman R7 shoots the Premiers with ease. The velocity loss for 10.5 domed premiers seems insubstantial in accuracy.
Both Walthers get only the heavy pellets and feel extremely smooth in cocking and firing. There is a bit of spring rattle on cocking but in firing there is no spring sound at all.
I am pleased to see this rifle on video in the field! Thank you for this video,
