Here is what I think it is the JC Higgins 1st model. The Sears model 150 was made for a pretty short time before changing over to the second model. It had some interesting features not carried on to the second model: gray Kringle paint body and breech guard. Gray barrel spacer. Got mine from Fletcher’s collection, he got it from the Myron Kasok collection auction 2003. Have no idea how many were made but I just never have seen one except for the one I bought. Given its Sears there should be some out there?
I believe the made in Mexico version is the rarest....

Enjoyed the pics! Blue Book said more than 20 variations and unknown number for foreign models. I am looking for a nice type 2, one piece barrel and breech with a wraparound grip myself.
