Title: Request tips on the old air rifle

Hello friends. I do not have any information about this gun. Is this a UK air Gun?
On the gun tube, this phrase is written: model 35..

I've seen the pentagon 'F' but never the 'J'. Have to look into that. It's also obviously a .45 cal.

Is this a gun that you own, or just have pics for?

Have a pic of the overall rifle? (I'm assuming it's a rifle...).

If it's an air rifle I suspect it more likely that it's 4.5mm or what we know as .177 caliber - just a guess.  Pretty gun though from what I can see of it.

How stupid of me.  :o I didn't look close enough. I think you can just make out a decimal between the 4 and 5.

Would still like to see an overall pic of the whole rifle. Right now it's all jigsaw pieces.

It's a BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) Cadet Major from 1947-1957.
