Gamo Urban LDC Adapter

I got this hair-brained idea while shooting my urban and wondering how I could make it as quiet as my Mrod and some of the other PCP's I have that are equipped with a Rocker1 LDC.
The stock LDC in the Urban is a 2 piece device that clam-shells together and slides down into the pickle at the end of the barrel. The pickle doesn't just pop off or unscrew, so I had to figure out a way to work around that.
What I came up with involved the following parts:
An old aluminum Rocker1 LDC Adapter I no longer use. I think it was for the QB Chief, but due to variances in barrel sizes, it never fit right, so David made another and this became a spare part with absolutely no use until now...
A piece of carbon fiber tube from eBay I had purchased a while ago for another project. This is the perfect diameter and thickness of the machined end of the Varmint/Plinkster where the stock LDC fits. I got this tube to fill a small gap between the LCD adapter and the outside diameter of the barrel after installing Rocker1 adapters and LDCs. The piece came in a 2' length, I think I used an inch on the previous project. Just so happens it fits good and snug into the receiver at the end of the Urban barrel, with the help of a couple o-rings.
Other than that, just some black felt and a few various o-rings I used to help center everything when reassembled. I did drill 6 small 3/16" holes ½" apart, clear through both sides of the tube, turned 90 degrees and drilled another 6 holes centered between the previously drilled holes. This was done so I could fashion somewhat of a sound deadener to replace the stock one so it wasn't too loud without an LDC attached. And, I'm happy to say it works. The felt was wrapped around the tube to act as a sound deadener and then it was all slid into the pickle. The Rocker1 adapter with a host of o-rings and some electrical tape to help keep them toward the front of the adapter was then slid in to the pickle and the stock end cap was replaced and secured with the stock roll pins. I did have to open up the hole in the end cap to ½" so the ½" X 20 threaded end would fit through. The thread protector is the one David made and sent with the adapter, so it's just a finishing touch when the LDC is not attached.
Sound level with out the LDC is pretty close to stock, can't really say it's any quieter without some sophisticated measuring equipment, but after adding the Rocker1 LDC, it's mouse fart quiet! I love it when you can do a project with just the spare parts you have on hand and don't have to spend anything extra!
Here some picture I took as I was doing the final assembly. The last 3 pictures are of the stock LDC that fits inside the pickle and the last photo is the receiver at the end of the barrel the the stock LDC slides into.

Excellent job. Looks cool and sounds like it works well. Wanna sell that stock clamshell LDC that you took out? If you do I'd be interested (pm me ).

Round 2... I didn't like how long the Urban was with the Rocker1 LDC on the end of the Pickle, so I moved it inside! This is actually quieter than the previous version because the Rocker1 LDC is doing all the quieting. I think the holes in the side of the Pickle kinda defeated the quieting of the previous attempt.
The Rocker1 LDC only extends 3" beyond the end of the urban now. I just need to find someone with a 3D printer who can print a piece that will add 3" at the diameter of the Pickle, with a couple tabs like the OEM end cap so it can be secured with the 2 roll pins. I think that would finish it off and make it look better than it does now. But, it works and is much quieter than stock!
