Just developed a new idea...4 large rotating targets and 4 small. I thought it would be a piece of cake to shoot, but quickly learned that it is tougher than it looks.
By hand rotating the target, thereby twisting the suspension cables; when released, it rotates at a nice pace for about 15-20 seconds. The pellets don't seem to bother the heavy cardboard tube. Had the footer tube and rope left over from earlier projects, so cost was basically nothing.
Heavy duty moving blankets make great backstops and protect the privacy fence. Don't get the lightweight moving blankets offered at most stores. The pellets go right through them.
