Wow! Very nice .. going to try that on my bbt 48.5 and maybe a swaged or two. Your .25 is knocking down some serious power buddy.
Playing with vermin bullets in the .25 and .257 NOE RD with hollow point mold services work + my little additions. I am using a T-15 star bit that is honed to make the side cuts inside the hollow cavity. I talked to Eric of HPMS (Hollow Point Mold Services) about my findings a couple of years ago, and he was going to play with it. I got really unable to do anything before the surgery on my back and dropped it for a long time. Tofazfou also played with the idea. I am back to testing. So one more of my little secrets revealed. LOL I figured that after marking folks here wait on the accuracy trick I found, it was the least I could do for the bullet shooters. These are high in tin, so not very soft. In pure, or very tin in the lead. They literally explode. They blow up like a varmint bullet should. They make a very nasty wound. As they are, they still virtually blow up even on very small game. So may not have started as a true big bore, but how many .53 can ag slugs have you seen. LOL!!! These weight in at a bit over .44 gr, and and leave the muzzle at a sedate high 890's to low 900's.At 990 fps, they all come apart, regardless of tin mix when so worked. I love these bullets! Knife
It will out kill any .357 pellet shooter, which they seem to think is more powerful. LOL

your .257 @ 200yrds, no mention of that distance in your post.i'm sure its good within its limits, but thats not what i was talking about.my .357 with a 105gr Nsa slug will deliver 250fpe out to 60yrds.and it will do a 81gr polymag @ 220fpe out to 50yrds and i'm sure much further.
I could say more, but I can see that it is useless. There is always one, no matter where you are. I would't suggest any .22 in Ala. Unless you want a fast trip straight to jail. Texas is kinda stupid in some of their game laws. For instance, any center fire is legal. Yep, even a .25 acp pocket pistol would be legal cording to the Texas Game laws. No doubt here at least one that is willing to argue that as a wise decision as well. No longer interested. Avatar says it all. Knife
