Rather than a single-shot tray, I went the other direction. I couldn't find Beeman mags for it anywhere, and based on comments in this thread and "1085 first impressions" I figured that I might be able to make something close work.
The functional difference between the 1085 mag and the Benjamin Marauder is that the 1085 has a pin in the tray slide area that allows causes the mag to line up properly with the barrel. My modification is to add a slot to the Benjamin mag so that it has the same alignment capability.
I began by measuring the size/position of the slot. It is 2.87mm from the forward face, 2.97mm wide, 7.54mm deep, and 4.48mm high. The photos show these measurements. Note that the only really critical one is the 7.54mm depth. An otherwise slightly-larger slot is not going to be a problem, as the mag is a pretty snug fit.
Once I had those dimensions, I scored them gently onto the mag using the caliper, then used a #11 blade to mark them more deeply.
Using a 3/32" (2.38mm) carbide end mill-style bit in my Dremel #8220 at very low RPM (almost the lowest speed), I carefully made the notch. Several times I cleaned out the plastic chips (if you're melting the plastic, you're doing it wrong!) and verified that I was keeping to the lines. Once I got very close, I used the #11 more frequently and started to verify the fit into my gun.
When I was done, I had another mag for my newest favorite rifle. And then I made another.
By the way, I really love this piece. I'll be updating it with a wood stock (from a QB 85 Deluxe) next weekend. I just like wood better than polymer.

So, question - Beeman is owned by Marksman.
The Beeman website is dead - totally non-responsive.
The Marksman links don't talk about Beeman other than a link to the non-responsive website.
The e-mail address to "contact us" (sales@marksman.com) bounces.
Does Marksman exist? Did I buy an orphan? (I don't mind if I did - it's a heck of a gun).
What's going on here?

Will that work with Beeman Chief II as well?
There's a nightmare to try find parts and spares on beeman.

It looks like same to me.
This is beeman chiefs 10 shot magazine.
Just wondering if grind that pin almost of the rifle.
It would be easier to modify those clips after that and it will still seltle in right place.

That Chief magazine looks exactly like the one for my gun.
Can you compare measurements for the notch to what I have in this article? If Chief mags will work for me without modifying then it will give me something else to google for. So far Google turns up 0 hits of them being available anywhere. Pyramyd Air has lots of questions, with answers (from the same guy) ranging from "soon" to "not available." That doesn't inspire confidence. Maybe we'll just have to buy up all the Marauder mags and convert them. I just bought 4 more of the Marauder type, just to have on hand.

I just think grindin the pin of, there's still that lip to place the mag in place.... i think

Maybe the purpose of that pin is to keep us from buying Marauder mags.
It didn't work :D
I had one mag that the spring popped out of place and wouldn't feed. I had to open it to fix it. None of my standard or metric drivers fit the socket, but I found an old Allen wrench that fit perfectly. Kind of odd that it's not a conventional size.

Here in Finland those marauder mags cost over 40$ and if i order them from states only post cost more than 60$..... I think i try to find 3D copy machine or so.

Hi Andy I had one of these a while back it had mags with it but I was told you can grab the pin with vise grips and pull it out and the M-rod mags will fit with no mods. I didn't try it but I bet it will work. Later Geno

I took that pin of and now mags work without modding.
So... Problem solved.
Pin came out with pliers quite easy. .. lil twist and pull.
Next projekt is barrel end piece.
