Been working on this setup for quite a while off and on. Its been extremely good indoors at 30y...but took it outside to shoot at 75y today. Wind was 5-7mph and variable. I took around 10-15 shots to zero the rifle and get used to the wind. I was shooting over 2 flags, and my intention was not to see if it would shoot a good group...but to see if i could shoot a good high count group in a specific place. I refilled the rifle about half way through the 75 shot string.
This is a total of 75 shots at one bull at 75y. I shanked one low and left, but otherwise was very happy with the predictability and repeatability of the setup.
The rifle is jet adjustable like my other rifles, but this one spans power levels from 30fpe to 70fpe. I get about 45 shots on a fill. Until the Extreme BR is over...I'm going to keep any other specifics under my hat.
If you can cover your shots with a quarter...you will score a 10 on the Extreme BR card...depending on caliber...so that applies to this one. Probably 85 percent or better of the 75 shots are under the quarter...with the vast majority under a nickel.
I'm not done, yet...but this is making good progress.
Here is a progression of the 75 shot group in 25 shot increments.
