Title: Air Rifle Scope???
Post by: beemangh950 on December 26, 2018, 08:27:28 PM
I was watching my usual Airgun hunting shows and one guy had scope that, On one dial you selected your yardage 50,52,48 Etc. The other dial you he had where you could write what pellets you were using, and the scope adjusted depending on which pellets you were using. Does anyone know which scope that was.

I believe you are referring to the Leatherwood ART Automatic Ranging and Trajectory Scope. Pretty nice stuff.

Get the HECK out... seriously?
no matter what pellet gram or BC?
How about Caliber.... Maybe one scope for 177, another for 22? what about 20?
Seems like an awful tall claim.

EDIT: saw on the link... "223 to .50 BMG" so even my PB .17HMR is out of the possibilities.

I agree. The ART scopes were designed for .22 cal powder burners and up. I would have to see a link to the video to see what setup the fellers using.

My understanding is you can ask a higher end scope manufacturer to make your reticle to your chosen MV and BC?

But I think the OP may be misunderstanding. Unless there is 2 elevation adjustments? One for zero and the other for trajectory?

IDK. I have a tiny bit of experience with the trijicon on an M4. No other hi end scope experience.
