After chasing rats into the darkness with a hand held flashlight figured had to be a better way ?
So, with a bit of simple ingenuity used the filler probe cap as the base.
Machined 2 shallow o-ring grooves at @ .100" deep that take #212 o-rings with a slight stretch.
Thin wall tubing I.D. was to be target size for a slight interference fit when slid onto.
The full diameter tube and another longer length cut lengthwise in half glued together with beads of "Goop" / "Shoe Goo" adhesive and allowed to cure 24 hours then painted matt black.
Just minor film of oil within tube allows easy slip on/off of the flashlight ... Works very well !!
* Flashlight an adjustable projector lens REDLINE Nebo 220 lumins L.E.D.
Night time critter shootin just got a whole lot easier !!
