Yeah, sweat spot in Weihrauch line for me is: HW35E, HW50S & HW95.
My 50 in 20 cal is my absolute favorite springer. I pick it up for yard pesting as well as woods walk hunting more than 30 or R9. It really is the perfect combo of the two. Love the weight/length, quiet, easy to shoot and plenty of power for pretty flat shooting out to 50 yards. The last springer id get rid of.
I had thought about getting the 50S for quite awhile but never did until I came to GTA and started reading all the comments about them. I originally was going to pick one up in .22 but since everything I shoot is .177 and I don't hunt, I decided to go with the .177. Glad I got the 50, it's smooth, accurate and fun to shoot. It's definitely a keeper.BTW, is that a knee riser made out of PA's packing foam? I tried shooting FT position last night and started thinking about making some type of knee riser for the 50. That foam came to mind, but I hadn't figured out how to make it yet. I like the way you did that.

Just for the sake of keeping my enabler rep in tact, I should mention that our second HW50 is in 20. It is a joy to shoot.
I'm so bad.
" Lots of HW50s love lately .."You are correct! I was actually thinking the same just last night, and I wonder between the 50 and the 30, which would more likely win a popularity contest around here. Lol
