Title: Hatsan Picatinny Rails not the same????
Post by: Rat Sniper (AKA: PaulT58) on January 23, 2019, 10:21:25 AM
I was setting my ATN 4K Pro scope up to use on different air guns and discovered something I found rather odd.  The ATN Scope with with the Picatinny/Weaver mount rings and I initially set it up on my Hatsan BullBoss.  The rings were mounted so they aligned with the slots on the rail of my BullBoss, but when I moved it to my Hatsan AT44-10S, the rings did not align with the slots on the Picatinny/Weaver rail on that rifle.  Ain't there supposed to be pretty much universally spaced?

Thankfully, Hatsan's rail will also work with a dovetail mount, so I was able to slip on a couple UTG adapters and made it fit.  I use these adapter to mount the scope to my Gauntlet and Marauder, so they will probably just stay where they are and be used on all the rifles I have it set for.

Anyone else experience this with different spacing on different guns?  Just curious if this is common or I've got one that's an oddball!  Thanks...

Yes the picatinny rails do not match from one gun to another, Hatsan recommends using the 11mm rail for that reason, and possibly other fitment issues.
