Minor gripe -- may be just my browser but suspect not --

On the Home page, the top category "News" cycles through 3 different blurbs of text information.  The two of them are 6 lines long, and the other is 3 lines long.  When the 3-line long one displays, EVERYTHING below the News section moves up, and when a 6-liner displays, EVERYTHING moves down.  Annoying and looks unprofessional.

Can the News section be made a fixed size?  Or can the contents be standardized, each blurb being the same size?  Seems simple enough.  Thanks!
