JTS Aircuda Max .... TECHNICAL DATA & TUNING
Buckaroo50:
I have a question.. Since the "Standard" Airacuda has an adjustable transfer port. why would they not build the Airacuda Max using the same receiver..?

Well .... one reason being the "Strangle" adjuster of the standard is only .165" I.D. This for an UN-regulated .22 or .25 is about perfect.
On the MAX the transfer path is a huge @ .215" IIRC all the way threw valve to barrel.
Even if it fit, doing so would Tune Down the power limit of the max quite a bit and those seeking big power would be looking for a work around of the TOO SMALL and low flow strangle adjuster. :P :P :P

Also the strangle adjuster is there to help flatten the curve because the gun is unregulated, with a regulated gun you can just turn the hammer strike down or up.

Self contained SSG devise ...
Found to work a tad better for tighter ES values that a SSS set up.
Done for both a standard as well Max giving equally good results.
Base line was a .063 wire spring at 3 1/2" long x .500 diameter.
* Pending reg set point, your guns hammer weight ... adjust accordingly
