I still say we need a German gate for us lovers of Weihrauchs  and Dianas.
Anybody listening? Mods? Admins?    

No, I'm not looking to be a mod of a new gate. I really don't have time and, to be honest, I can be a bit controversial at times.
Besides, I'm jaded, cynical, skeptical, apathetic, blah, blah, blah.

I would have volunteered, but I don't have time, sometimes have trouble maintaining objectivity, and just plain don't have a clue how to do the job.

Now, THAT'S honesty you don't see everyday. I'm sure you made good choices. Making such decisions is above my pay grade. LOL
