Crosman 2100 is a decently accurate BB shooter with some oomph. Daisy 35 is another good un, smoothbore. Crosman 760 isn't bad, daisy 880 isn't bad. Just pick one and keep the pump head oiled, should last several years.Edit- regardless your choice, don't expect better than minute of can accuracy, out to ten or maybe even 20 yards if you find a good one!
Try the Duke at Pyramyd. I got a pair of the Annie Oakley Sure Shot rifles for my daughters for Christmas and they have enough power to make bb's stick in plywood about 1/2 to 3/4 of the time. Ya know santa (daddy) gotta "test fire" the guns a couple (hundred) times inside the return window. I believe the Duke is the same gun with a large loop. Go with the plastic loop it cost less and is more durable than the pot metal loop. Should be an option.Nowhere near 500 fps but decent enough power to sling bb's through both sides of an empty gatorade bottle at ten meters.
Absolutely with 100% conviction, Daisy Quicksilver BB's. Above Hornady Black Diamond, and many tims better than Crosman Copperhead BB's. If you really really want the best most accurste bb, daisy avanti precision shot. But daisy quicksilver pretty "dang" close, the rest not so good. Plain and simple.
Well, Well guess what I found ?I kept thinking I had bought a 760 a few years ago, but like everything in my house I couldn't find it ....Well way back in the corner of my work room was a gun socked 760 ;- ) I quickly filled it with BB's and pumped her up 4 times ... got ~415 fps on an average ... Perfect .. just what I was looking for in the first place. Doubt if I will pump her up more than that (Maybe 5 pumps if the velocity is a good bit more), as I have exercise machines at home and BB's at around that speed (400-500fps) fly pretty nice.I'm glad I found it, Now what to do with the 880 I just bought :- )wll

I would stick with the 2 smoothbore options... the daisy 35 or the crosman 760... any other pumper with rifling will always be better used with pellets. i still think that you cant beat the 760 with anything as a loafer, walk around the woods gun... even with BBs. 2.25 lbs? what? is like carrying nothing... as per BBs, cant beat the daisy silvers... shoot the best .
