neither at that range. Improve your stalking skills and get closer
to each his own David. Not everyone can put 5 shots at 35 yards into the size of a dime every time with these ag's. With that low an FPE any shot slightly off is a wounded animal and not dinner. I'm thinking ethically. Those who can, well, can. I myself prefer up close and personal. 15 yards is nice. 20 is ok too.Although with my 880 I have made clean kills out to 26 yards. Once. Only time I tried it. Besides it simply can not hurt to improve ones hunting skills by getting closer than the minimum needed to kill
Niether I like even my short barrel 14.5" 1322 with stock better for hunting.
My thought is that it would be pretty hard to be stealth and stalk prey if you're pumping wood or plastic on metal to prepare for your next shot. I understand that deaf squirrels don't taste as good. My first choice would be my 2240 converted to a .177 carbine with a custom 17" barrel (chopped and crowned by yours truely). I get 25 - 30 dead accurate shots at 25 to 30 yards. A couple extra C02 carts in the vest pocket would let you hunt all weekend. If you ca resist shooting it all up in an hour with this fun little pellet slinger.
