Dont have torque wrench so only hand, and would simple 2pc gamo mounts work on vortex crossfire scope, will it withstand recoil of airgun? I heard some peopel say that diana bullseye get wobbely after bit time and losses accuracy and everything, now is that true or not i dont know, i just want to put my scope on a gun and go shoting
If you bought that Hatsan 125 Sniper you were considering in the thread you posted in the Turkish Gate, that rifle will very likely eat scopesincluding that Vortex Crossfire even though Vortex claims all their scopes are spring piston air gun rated.I had to remind myself of where you live and that things we buy here in the United States aren't always easily available overseas before I posted when you said you couldn't get the Sportsmatch Dampa mount. If you can't get Sportsmatch, then get the Diana ZR mount. You've already read posts from several members here saying they work well and I'll add my name to that list owning one. I had my own doubts but I took a chance and got one to try and they work. It will also definitely work better than trying to use a set of 2 piece rings on that beast of a Hatsan 125 if that's the rifle you bought, just follow all the mounting instructions exactly.
They should work, I have them on mine. The rifle is an Edge Vortex .25 caliber. I use the Reach Forward versions but the standard onesshould work just as well. Clean the rails with rubbing alcohol to get any grease and such off it, then attach the scope stop plate in the front 2 holes. They're small so be careful not to lose one like I did...lol. Now take the front ring and put the back side of it snug against the stop plate.and tighten it.Now you can take the back ring, do a loose fit to the rail so you can slide it back and forth, set your scope on to decide exactly where you want it to sit and when you have it where you want it, tighten that rear ring down. Then you just have to set the scope in, put the ring caps and screws on and tighten everything.2 different rifles in the pictures. Top one is my Edge .25 Vortex in a Harvest Moon camo stock, the bottom one is an Edge .22 Vortex in the Beech Striker stock. Both use those same rings and both have Hawke Vantage IR scopes on them. I've never had problems with either one of them other than that lost screw.
Hawke puts out a quality mount. I personally prefer a one piece mount to a two piece. I feel it provides a more rigid mount for the scope but that's my preference, not necessarily borne out in fact.
