@WesBobHey Wes I bought the compressor from you a couple weeks ago, put the oil in and ran it through breakthrough and then put it in my garage. Earlier this week I noticed it was seeping oil out through the bottom of the case. It was a healthy amount. At first I thought it must be I totally missed the the fill oil and got some in the case. So I filled it back up with some compressor oil and was really careful to go slow to fill it as to not spill anything. Then the next day its seeming out through the bottom again. I took the cover off and it appears that where the ?crank case? cover is bolted onto the main body the oil is coming out through that. Is there a gasket in there or RTV? Has anyone else had this problem? There's so much oil everywhere on the inside of the case its actually kind of hard to tell where exactly its leaking from.

I finally had time yesterday to unbox it and planned to follow the break-in/startup procedure. When I turned the compressor upright after adding the oil, I noticed the oil was dripping out of the bottom of the enclosure. I figured I had spilled some oil while filling. I decided to let it sit overnight just in case there was a leak. When I checked it today, all of the oil had leaked out. I refilled the oil and removed the top of the enclosure. Upon closer inspection, I noticed oil dripping from the bottom of the crankcase. I have emailed Xisico USA to see how to proceed. I sure hope they will replace it under warranty! Did you ever get your problem resolved?
Quote from: cheesemonkeys on December 17, 2021, 02:32:17 PMHere is the pic. After I refilled it (yes through the oil view port) it completely drains/seeps so that the view port shows no fluid over the course of 18-24 hours. Supposed to be a oring in there. But since you got it out do you want to convert it to a oilless and greaseless no maitenance unit? Buy this bearing and cut it down to the roller bearing length then hammer or press it into the rod and your done!!! no oil ever again.

Would this mod also work on the earlier greased version?

I'd really like to try if I could just be sure what you're talking about specifically!

Is it possible to buy a bearing that is the correct size without cutting ??
