I am very impressed with this gun at it's price point. At 40yds I can consistently stack H&N Match pellets. All I've done to this gun it shim the side to side trigger slop and reduce the long pull first stage.Next up was the Hatsan 1K Vortex in .25. I am equally impressed with this gun. This gun cost me $100 on a close out deal a couple years back. Hitting dime groups at 40yds. with the H&N Hunters 27.47gr. All I've done to this gun was to install the RC bearing trigger mod.I came to the conclusion that something is missing....A good shooting wood and metal sub $300 gas ram .22.Our 17 day summer shutdown at work begins Saturday morning. One of the plans for the time off is to go through my arsenal and determine what has a purpose and what can be sold off and replaced with something I don't have.I know many of you are fond of those high end break barrel guns... I am not. I'm more of a 'bang for my buck' kinda guy. I don't use my guns for survival. I don't hunt at all. I pest at best. Other than that, I use my guns for relaxation.I have space to shoot out to 100yds but I rarely even attempt it. Virtually all of my shooting is 45yds and under. So, my search begins. First step is to gather the funds. The GTA Classifieds will be my friend.... and maybe yours as well. Update...Ask and ye shall receive....Our buddy EZ man Dave answered the call.He reposted his NIB Ruger Yukon 1050 .22 in the GTA Classifieds.I remember looking at it last time it was posted but I passed it up.I figured it was long gone.It pretty much checks all my boxes as to what I was looking for and comes in $100+ below budget.Wood and metalAdjustable 2 stageGas Ram... in this case, reverse gas ram.Picatinny scope mount.22 calEven comes with a scope to use on one of my low end non boingers.Dave is in Tenn. and I am in lower Alabama so shipping will be quick, fast and in a hurry.I sent the Paypal and he replied with a tracking number.Ain't the GTA a great place to be?So, what benefit do y'all get from this?Well, one of you lucky dogs is gonna get a shot at buying a good ole Diana 48 side lever in .177.Soon as I get some pictures and gather some data it'll be in the Classifieds... probably as soon as tomorrow morning... Yes, Mod Dave has nice pieces for sale.I wish that Boyd's Coyote with an adjustable comb was for the Disco I like that color and the Nutmeg.

A woodchuck...#5 so far for the year. Very happy neighbors since he was in their yard...lol.
I shot my DPMS Panther Classic A4 .177 and my Diana AMO3 Stealth .22 today. It was nice to shoot, but boy- was it hot out there… I’m tired again.

Shooting some sub dime groups at 35yds with the Hatsan 1KV .25 and the Hatsan Vortex Strike 24.7 pellets.Surprising that the gun cocks easier than the Diana 250 in .177.The RC roller bearing trigger mod just changes the whole shooting experience.
After coffee and cookie, I took my peep sighted HW50S out to the patio and shot some spinner spoons a bit round 8:00 or so. Our patio has an insulated cover with two ceiling fans. Even so, by 10:00 it's just too xxz!ebc HOT to stay out. We've been having 100+° days for a week. I hate east Texas summers!
