I noticed some roughness showing up in the trigger and it was affecting my shooting. So I decided to remove the stock and start troubleshooting thinking it was the sear.
Hmm. How does the sear come out? After removing a c-clip and a pin I noticed that a c-clip was missing on the trigger pivot. Went into my parts stash and found a match.
Well after losing it and finding it 3 times I lost it again and this time couldn't find it.
I took the clip I had pulled off and went to Napa where I found a close match, not realizing that the original was metric and I was replacing it with a SAE part.
I finally got it to seat, put the pin and c-clip I had 1st removed and loaded the rifle.
That didn't quite feel right. Took it outside and it wouldn't shoot.
hey!!
Took it apart again and reassembled it 3 times. Still won't shoot!
I finally realized that the sear wasn't locking the piston!! Did I lose the sear spring?
Took it apart again and removed the trigger. Looked inside the trigger housing and there it was! I had pulled the pivot pin for the sear spring!!
After the judicious use of 3 different pairs of needlenose pliers, 2 spring hooks and several different things used as alignment tools I have success!
Now I know why Charliedatuna said DO NOT REMOVE THIS PIN!!!

Sounds like a learning experience.
I remember your first post about that gun. Were you able to get a proper two stage feel out of that trigger where you have a light first stage travel, then a heavier second stage wall that beaks cleanly with no second stage creep?

No, I couldn't get the trigger the way I liked it so I replaced it with a GRT-III from Charliedatuna.
