Air Gun Gate / Re: What airgun related did you do today?« Last post by avator on Today at 10:24:16 PM »Waited until dark then went out to check out the lights. That 2' LED strip light does a great job of lighting up the bench. I put it just behind the shooter on the ceiling so it floods the bench but it's not in the eyes and no glare.
Tomorrow I will look into running the outdoor cord through the trees and another outdoor outlet for the range lights. I've got a double halogen work light that will light up the entire range. 3
Pellets all calibers / Re: Dubious B.C. ratings« Last post by Ike the GSD on Today at 10:21:12 PM »The copper plated Barracudas didn't do well in my springers, but today I fired a few out of my Marauder and they shot great and penetrated an astounding inch and a quarter into a 2x8👀

They look very good. I've had some health issues preventing me from getting out to shoot them, hopefully soon I'll get to testing.

Air Gun Gate / Re: I love break barrels and under lever air guns.« Last post by ER00z on Today at 10:00:17 PM »Is anyone's favorite rifle a .177 r9? I think maybe ed. I have an HW95 in .177 and have been very happy with it. During its initial break in I had my reservations on whether or not it was worth it but once it settled in it became a fantastic shooter. Can't say it's my overall favorite, but it's among my favorite dozen or so springers. They all have their purpose. My HW95 is my go to pesting break barrel. 6

I was thinking of doing one in foil with soy sauce, ginger, lemon, and green onions. Let it steam up and put a salsa on it afterwards. I've tried it like this with stripe bass and it came out pretty good. 8

Crosman-Benjamin Air Gun Gate / Re: Extended Pump 1322« Last post by Van on Today at 09:37:27 PM » Thanks Peter, I wil have to try a 1377 sear spring or one like it when I get the valve out. The spring in it now is pretty stiff and may be causing it to retain the air. Did you have to cock your gun first to pump with that spring? It takes the right balance for the hammer spring to not overcome a weaker valve spring at rest.
