E30_S50. Set your gun up for shooting at 2500 psi and you will find out the seal last much longer. The pump seal (if you burn it out) is very easy to replace and buna 006 duro 70 oring works just fine. By the way E30 I’m the person on the other forum that helped you out on your seal situation. Nickname is Butch.
Thanks for the feedback guys!So the 006 buna 70 durometer o-ring is the one most likely to go.Does anyone have the sizes for the other o-rings?
Nova Freedom first day report. The first thing I did after pulling the new rifle out of the box was check all screws for tightness.Found the barrel three mounting set screws loose and tightened them.Tightened the stock mounting screws, both were loose. All of the foregrip screws were loose.Checked if the barrel had a crown. it does not. I will deal with this later.Lubed the pump as instructed in the manual.Pumped it up to 3000 PSI and put it away for the night. Was still at 3000 PSI the next day.Mounted a Bushnell 4x12x40 scope after verifying that it was optically centered.First shot was very low at 20 yards, so I added .025 (5 strips from a Miller Beer can) shims under the scope in the rear mount.Only had to make a few clicks to windage and elevation to hit the bullseye.I have to say is this rifle is a very accurate gun! Many shots went into the same hole.Being 67 years old, pumping is a pain!!! I ordered a Benjamin Traveler compressor today. Overall, I am very pleased with this rifle.
