Buying a 357 was a non option after seeing how poorly they shoot. The claimed fpe on the 357 is also allot lower. The .30 is lower as well but not as much percentage wise. Biggest thimg though is tje accuracy and the .30 wims hands down. Can I get some info on the tune for the bt65 you were speaking of? Thanks !
I can tell you what I did to my BT65, and will do the same for the .30 as well, did the valve plug, and crown the barrel, adjust hammer spring. That's it that's all. Shooting 10fps ES 15 shots, then goes up to 17es over two clips non regulated,
My bad man. Im on a budget and the price was a factor. I also like Hatsan. In all honesty im habong buyers remorse after visiting the shop today and having the specs. 68 fpe avg. Out the box. Hoping the work on it helps.

If thats all it takes then I guess that will be great. Side note, the pressure gage wasnt working on the gun at all. Hatsan sent out a broken gage so hopefully thats not the start of other surprises with the gun.
Is this a machine shop, or an airgun tuner, you sent the gun too?.... What is his experience in tuning PCPs?.... Does he have a Chrony?.... Bob
Yes h e is right about that, but depends on the chrono work, and fill pressure. You can turn it up a bit and still keep a bell curve.I have not bought that gun as of yet, but based it on the BT65.

I appreciate your help. Let me ask, do you feel the tuning is something I can do myself? The discussion I initially saw was you, helping a fellow airgunner, basically walking him thru a tune. Idk if you remeber the exchange you had but it didnt seem to bad. Idk what to do at this point.
