Maybe clean all the oil out with brake clean. Then zero it again??
Temperature change can have an effect in more than one way. From in the house, +/-70*, to outside, +/-30*, my 98cf tank dropped a good 400-500psi. With the Badger being so fill sensitive, I ended up charging my fill tank outside cause it was so cold. Then left the gun and tank outside over night and in the bed of the truck on the way to the hunt spot. I then filled to my regular fill pressure. Real slow too. I think that's important being so cold out. I like to fill up to 500 psi pre-fill psi. Then close the valve. Let it settle and then creep up to the fill psi.I was sighted in around +/-25* higher temp as well. I was good though. Also I set up for OPBZ. I think this helps A LOT in accounting for a larger spread in fps. If you were sighted in at 50*, and then went out in 18*, it's very possible you would have a change in impact just from scope change.
How is your moisture control?Any bit of moisture in your gun will show its face in cold temps like that.It can actually freeze around your valve causing a slow response.
Clean all the lube off and spray the parts down with graphite spray. It goes on like paint, but it works good in the cold because it's dry.
William, what my Extreme .457 likes is 4300psi On cold hunts I set my tank and gun in a hard case outside. Prior to heading out I top it off with the cold air. I have found that when weather drops off below freezing I loose 750-1000psi. So if I topped it off to 4300psi at 70 when its freezing its around 3500psi dropping POI quite a bit. You might look at that and give it a try. Best of Luck Brother Man

18 is really cold? As noted it might be lube getting thick. And as noted, if your going to hunt or shoot a lot outside, itd be worth setting the gun up for cold weather operations. Trouble is you cant test it til it gets cold.....
