New use for a reflex sight

I have recently purchased a couple of very nice camera lenses. I found one problem that high magnification brings with it, extremely narrow field of view. I mounted a cheap daisy reflex to a hot shoe mounting stud and solved the problem. Once I sight the reflex on my subject, my lense is almost dead center on the subject too. This only works on subjects that tend to remain still for a few minutes. I'm sure as I play with more I'll get quicker at line up the reflex with my target.

I use a cheap red dot as a first acquisition device for a Dobsonian reflector telescope.... It allows me to point to a star or planet, and then use the sighting scope (a 10x50) to center the object for the main telescope.... It works great!....

I did some research and found out that they manufacture a sight made for cameras. However, they cost about three times what I have invested in mine including my time.
