I had an 80’s model for years. I only recently sold it, eyes are getting a bit wonky for pistol open sights. It was supper accurate, mine preferred JSB 10.3. I found the best way to hold it was with a light grin and let the post move. Same as shooting a powerful spring rifle. You are getting new but you might find this interesting.Congratulations on the pistol.

You will love it. Yah it recoils, so what, so does every firearm in the world. If it was untamable they would not have been building and selling these beauties for 35+ years.Be aware that your points of impact will be UTTERLY different between the high and low power settings. Not a trajectory thing, but a different pellet exit point during the recoil cycle thing. At close range it actually shoots much higher on low power (which I learned whilst picking the pellets out of the wall above my pellet trap).
