An update:I won the bidding on the Sheridan, payed probably too much, $350 but... it has the funky top safety so it is probably pretty old, more than likely not a silver streak. The three reasons I wanted it: 1) it is my first one, 2) it has Williams rear peep sight, 3) it received the Mac1 steroid treatment. I also won a Benjamin 342 and I bought it for the same reasons, this one was $178.

Was this the one on Gunbroker ? If so,,, it looked to have been made about 1959.

It looks to be a 59-62 ?? So, it may be what you wanted. Congratulations.
