Hello,As the title implies, is an old Sheridan rifle without any markings worth $100. I only saw a few pictures and asked the seller. The reply was there are no markings on the compression tube or barrel. It is a .20/5 mm caliber and has a safety on the receiver top marked " HOLD DOWN TO SHOOT". The rifle is in fair condition.Your input is greatly appreciated.
LOL! Agreed... wishing I could find a "fair" hold down safety Silver for $100!!!
The prices on vintage pumpers have increased over the last several years, starting long before Covid. Don't forget that sometimes people run across very good deals, once in a while. If you are looking at e bay, you will see that sometimes the prices are very high due to a " bidding war," for the rifles. For a more realistic history of selling prices , from the listing of Sheridans on E Bay, look at the left column, & click on " Sold Listings." The next page will have prices in green, which is what that item actually sold for. The average prices I have seen lately are; Blue Streaks = $250-$400 ; Silver = $300- $500 . These prices ARE for rifles that are working well , and in above average cosmetic conditions. A bargain comes along every now & then, but rarely on E Bay.
