I don't get it... The ease of using co2 guns have always appealed to me. I own the javelin and many other co2 guns. Why didn't you buy an air saber ?
Acapulco, the Co2 cartridges are sensitive to temperature. too cold and you will not get best results. So that's why he's going with HPA, I get that part. My Co2 Javelin gun arrived and shot below the advertised speed. So i didn't like that at all. I did a conversion long time ago. I would stay at 850psi reg. unless you can get a stronger spring and heavier hammer. And the max you wanna go is 1100 psi, give or take due to these guns are not built for high pressure in the first place. SAFETY concerns above 1100psi!!!!!!!! I went to 1700psi for testing purposes only. was a dumb thing to do now that i look back. please dont go any higher than 1100psi. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=170114.20
Hi Ben, I just received my 13 ci HKArmy bottle and it seems a little anemic compared to warm CO2 cans. How did you shim your regulator with washers to raise the output? I plan to use mine with my Javelin and with a souped up paintball gun so don't want to raise it too much, maybe to about 900 psi. by the way, the regulator on my bottle seems to be a bit slow to stabilize. Have you noticed that on yours?
There are mods to boost the fpe on the javelin. Well...no need to modify the javelin to hpa. Umarex has the new air javelin pro in pcp. Check out the videos on YouTube.
