I got it! I'm super excited, really like it.... but it leaks , CO2 is coming out of the barrel. I really don't mind wasting a CO2 capsule, I would have found out sooner or later. I keep seeing advice to flush with alcohol but I have no idea where to start and how to go about it. I see Baker airguns sells this kit https://www.bakerairguns.com/product/crosman-150-157-seal-kits/ should I buy it?Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Also, I see @Wayne52 's pistol seems to have a rail. Am I wrong? Was that an option? Thank you
Well, I done it again...I just won the bidding "war" on fleabay, I just bought a Ted Williams Crosman 150, the price was a bit high but given the trend these days, I'm happy with the purchase. The seller states it was shooting fine but it hasn't been used for several years and he is including a set of seals with the gun. I should've ordered two kits from Baker earlier this morning but I only ordered one kit since I wasn't sure I'd win this second gun.
One question: Is there a way to mount optics on the Crosman 150?
Do I detect a budding 150/157 enthusiast ? If so, welcome to the tribe. Our un-official leader, the late Dean Fletcher, was rumored to have owned over 150 of them, so guilt is of no concern here. Some advice: always replace the original exhaust (poppet ?) valve, and give the head of the new valve several whacks, using a wood dowel and hammer, to seat it.

Now, I'm a little confused about the wracking part. I have wood dowels and hammers aplenty, wood mallets and leather mallets. I'm not familiar with the pistol innards (yet) so ill be scouring the internet for video and such. If you gentlemen can post some links would be highly appreciated.
Links and U-tube videos of removing the valve assembly from the gun and disassembling it are all over the web. Just do a Google or Bing on Crosman 150 disassembly. Once you get the valve assembly out and disassembled, you'll understand the whacking part. A additional piece of advice: some of the kits may include an exhaust valve for a 160. The 160 valve stem is longer that the 150/180 stems and will have to be shortened to match the 150 stem.
Brewbear as soon as I get my indoor shooting going again I'll probably be starting out with my Ted Williams, when I bought it, it came with the box and original paper work.
Here's right after I got mine, I paid about $175 deliveredeven then it's not what I call cheap but now that it's operating really good I could probably get over $200 for it if I sold it on ebay
