2013 gamo viper igt power loss

Over the past few months I have noticed my 2013 gamo viper igt .177 has been lower on power. I also put my finger over the transfer port and cocked/ slowly let it down and no pressure/ suction was created. It is not like this on my other break barrels, they well create some suction/ pressure. My guess is a bad piston seal due to the fact that I was stupid when I was younger and I hate to admit it but I would diesel and dry fire it alot 20+ times.I was wondering if it would be worth buying a seal and whole new piston while I was at it. Also are the parts from customairseals good or should I search for others.

Air Rifle Headquarters comes to mind and where I got the piston seal for the Gamo I have.
Guess on my part but probably a 25mm tube so this one would work:

You could also try sending a PM to fellow member OleTomCat. He's the resident expert on Gamo, how to fix things, where to get parts or what to use in place of parts
you can't get.

What Steve said. He even suggested the same seal I'd recommend. The only difference, I suggest measuring your old seal diameter. 25 mm is just shy of an inch, 26 mm is a hair over. Some Gamo magnum rifles used larger than normal compression tubes but I suspect yours is a standard model. Oletomcat is indeed the GTA Gamo guru. It is unlikely you need a new piston, it's more likely you just beat the seal to death. Inspect your piston and shine a light into your compression tube to check for damage.

Harbor Freight, cheap micrometer is like $10 and where I got mine.
I actually bought 3 seals from ARH but the one I linked above is the one that ended up being the right size
for the rifle I was playing with after I measured.
Gas ram I emailed Gamo about to be told they're sealed units and not serviceable but they also didn't say
a word about selling me a new one or how much. I'd say clean it up, new lube, new seal and see if the power
comes back. Opinions on lubes vary and everyone has their favorites. Mine is the ARH moly paste and his
small tub, if it's what you choose, actually has enough in it to do an easy 10+ rifles.

Thanks guys, once I get the money I'll buy a seal and some molly. The guns tube is 25mm.

I have the HF Digital caliper and it is OK, but the batteries drive me crazy! Frequent intermittent contact or low batt when I really NEED the calipers and have no backup batteries.
I recently went "old school" and got the Dial Calipers (with a 20% off coupon).
https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/measuring-marking-layout/calipers-micrometer/6-in-dial-caliper-63730.html
and the digital caliper is now gathering DUST!
I recommend the dial calipers.

I never even went with the digital crowd. Batteries go dead at the most inopportune moments, and they are a running cost. What's more, digital measuring devices give false readings before the battery goes "visibly" bad.
My analog calipers are decades old, in daily use, and will remain so for the rest of my life, without ANY hassle or additional cost.
