Don,I am not sure if you looked at the M2S line of e-bikes, mid-priced mid-drive motors. I picked up the All Terrain Ultra FS. Shipped fast when they have them in stock, easy to assemble. I am pretty happy with it although I haven't spent enough time on it. Food for thought, the rear hub e-bikes are less expensive and you can buy a spare battery for it and still be under a mid-drive e-bike price.https://shop.m2sbikes.com/collections/frontpage/products/all-terrain-ultra-most-powerful-electric-fat-bike
Bafang mid motor= 750/1000watts, Bafang display, Dual battery's26"x 4" fat tires,Fenders front & back, Rack for carry bags, Back to the researching........... Don
RandyHow do you like that Bafang Midmotor, does it have enough power for slow steep hill/rock crawling/riding? Yes, I believe so. I haven't tried that yet but I was able to use pedal assist and go up some steep roads with ease. Do you have a the small single wheel trailer for your bike? No, I wish I had the place to store one. Have you used the walk assist? Yes, where I live I have to use it to get the bike up the crazy stairs in a tight area. Thanks,Don
GuysThank you for all your information, it is greatly appreciated.... I only have a big nagging concern that I see with these E Bikes,It is the hanging down leg of the rear Derailer, I can see a piece of sage brush destroying it,then I am walking out, pushing a 70#+ bike dead weight......... So far I haven't found a good work around to this problem.......... I have seen only a couple of model's that have any type of protection at the rear Derailer.Your thoughts and suggestions..Tia,Don

and that is only my scouting pack, my hunting pack is way bigger,....pictures coming, eventually
Nice to see that I'm not the only guy humping a pack while hunting. I am prepared to stay out over night if need be so TP, grub, water, bug dope, 1st aid kit, poncho, headlamp, flashlight, and extra batteries. I too like to scatter tree stands and blinds around the area I hunt. It gives me more options when the wind is from the wrong direction. I also like to amble along from spot to spot while I hunt and it gives me some nice places to pause and watch the woods.
