For anyone interested in placing various targets through out their yard or on a field trip, I came up with these. Easy and cheap to make, easy to transport and indestructible. Buy some metal 4" electrical box covers. Cut a peice of all thread to desired lenght, double nut to cover, you are done. Place where you want, set target of choice on cover, enjoy your time shooting.
I'm liking the marshmallow idea. Very easy to see on the water. As to safety, I'm a co2 shooter. Not enough ooooomph to come up off the water for more than a few feet. Sort of like skipping a stone.

A range near me (now subdivisions) used to have a pond dedicated for .22 LR and they gave out marshmallows. Fun stuff. As you hit them, they keep moving further out, depending on wind of course.
So what's your favorite fun targets to shoot. Home made, store bought, metal, paper. Bulls eyes or Zombies? Or maybe just tin cans. I come up with a new idea every time I walk thru Home Depot. Also so many fun free paper targets on the internet I could spent a fortune on ink cartridges. Just found these metal targets on Amazon, very good quality and unique. I like having some different new animal targets . (1/8 steel) I also like to collect old paper targets, like Daisy, Crossman, JC Higgins etc. just looking at pictures can bring back some memories.

I know this is an old thread…I’ve been looking for a source to purchase a pop up, resetting target like the rats, squirrels, etc, but this one shows a human character bending over. When you shoot him in the fanny, the reset paddle falls down between his legs, resembling “a pair of…” you know what I mean. Shoot those to reset the Fanny target.
Yessir.... just like that.... thanks Mike.
