I shot my HW30S in the living room. I'm really depressed. It should not take me more than one shot to split the cards. I'm also too young to be seen shooting with my glasses on. Growing old is not for sissies.

You have to pick what you want/need to see as/when you age.

You have to pick what you want/need to see as/when you age.I've had to have glasses for a long time. I have progressive lenses because my doctor says my vision is 20/40. It use to be better than 20/10. I was told the best they could measure was 20/10.I could see a lot of things nobody else could see. People told me that my eyes were that of a cat in the dark.I'm on again and off again when it comes to wearing the glasses for shooting. I can still see the front sight really well on my M-1 Garand and on my Anschutz 64 MPR with aperture front sights. I also have an FWB 300S with an adjustable front and rear aperture that I don't need too use glasses for either.I got the Shaver(?) aperture inserts for the Weihrauch a long time ago. The OEM sight inserts are just too thick and after the passing years the custom inserts are a little too thin.I still enjoy shooting with iron sights a lot. My HW95 is set up with the Centra Anschutz receiver sight. I got it for the .22LR but it would not fit and still permit acuation of the bolt.So I put it on the HW95. It's loads of fun busting soup cans at 50 yards with that thing.
Topped my 362 with battle sights, and sighted it in, they just might stay on this one, I have another in route that is getting the steel breach treatment, and who knows what else
