So I polish the trigger parts and add plastic washers (cut from plastic packing materials myself) to the sear's pivot, and moly the contact points. The only possible improvement I can think of is to fix that hokey spring setup. What I hate about it is how it gets pushed back more than it gets pushed down. Then I had an idea. Imagine a thin piece of curve springy metal, with one end attached to where the original spring seats in the grip frame, then the new metal goes towards the rear of the gun until it hits the grip frame and then curls back towards the front and the end rests under the sear. Kind of a "C" shape from the side when the muzzle points towards the right.
I think it's be smoother, but the trick is getting the right piece of metal for a good trigger pull.

Yep. RC airplanes are a hobby of mine. Lots of music wire in various diameters collected over the years. Heating, bending and tempering can take practice. Plan on having a 3' piece to get it right if you are a first timer. Top O my bald head I'm thinking mine is .032"

Someone posted a thread on using opposing magnets, in place of a spiring. Gonna get around to trying that, one of these days.

If you have an empty .22 rim fire cartridge, you cut it down to where the bend is and slip it inside the spring that will keep the spring from bending out but still allow it to function correctly and make better contact with the sear. I did this to my 1377. I still have a little bend but not bulging out.

I did the "opposing magnets" mod, and I love it! Trigger has absolutely no grittiness, and is very consistent. I don't have a gauge, but trigger pull varies with the different hammer springs I have been trying. I'll say that with a medium hammer spring, the trigger pull is a consistent 3lbs or so. Other variables would be from the sizes of magnets, and how close you place them to each other.
I bought my magnets from ebay, a china seller, for 10 of them for a buck, shipped. I am guessing they are 4mm or so.
I used a brass tube the proper size, I have an assortment of tubes, pins, metal stock that I bought at Hobby Lobby store. Just used epoxy to glue the magnets. If you mess it up, be prepared to buy new trigger parts, but they are easy and cheap to buy.
No springs...no creep.
The only thing I want to add is an over travel screw. Different mod.

I tried the .22 case thing and it didn't do much. Opposing magnets seem like a good idea, but hard to get right. I am going to try to make the "C" spring idea work, and if I can't make it work, I'll try the magnet thing.
