Just wandering if its gonna happen again this year would like to come with wife

So far, none yet in IL. It looks like there will be one in southern IN and also the GTA Gene Memorial shoot in KY around the time.

It's really up to BobH, he was host and property owner.
If there is I will do my level best to be there. I got my brother and his sons kinda hooked on airguns, and the boys really shot well. My brother just bought a disco from me, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind trying to outshoot me with it.

I really hope to make it too if Bob hosts another one. If I can go to any, it will probably be only one. I feel bad that I haven't made it to a Gene Memorial fun shoot yet.

I can ask the folks at Hickory Hills (Plainfield) if we can host something, but they might have their own thing going on Memorial day weekend. We might be able to host something another weekend though. How many people came out to last year's?

I think I had a schedule conflict last year that kept me from attending. The one date we wouldn't want to conflict with is the weekend of May 20, the 2017 GTA Fun Shoot in Glencoe KY.
Other than that, I'm definitely open to the power of suggestion! :D

Yes, I was at the one in Toledo with brother and nephews. (I got 'em bit by the airgun bug. 8) ;D )

I thought JoeSchmoe was referring to a shoot that occurred in Plainfield last year. I know somebody held a shoot not too far from me last year that I didn't get to go to, just don't remember who it was.
I was at the GTA shoot last year too. Lost the paintball shoot in the second round... :'(
I'm coming back this year to see if I survive until the third round. ;)

I don't remember a Plainfield fun shoot, but that's MUCH closer for me than southern IL.

I wasn't shooting airguns at that time last year, so I DEFINITELY wasn't there. :P
Next time I go into the club I can ask them about plans in May and see if we can get something together. They're really nice guys, I don't see why not!

This year Lilly will celebrate her 65th birthday and guess what, that will be May 27. I have this feeling that I really should do something special for her birthday that she would find very enjoyable and pleasingly memorable. That day (weekend) will will be hers.
I do hope that somebody will step up and hold a shoot. I encourage anyone from our state to go Jimmy's shoot in southern, In.

Each winter gets a bit tougher, well that isn't really true. We just don't deal with them as aggressively as we did in the past. Lilly's mother is going to a nursing home this week, it's time. In June, our son will be retiring with 20 years service from the military.
We hope to attend the shoot in southern Indiana in April. I think that Jim can more safely handle more shooters and more powerful AG's than we could at Toledo.
Lilly and I hope that you are enjoying better health. Please give our best to Nicole.

Bob, we will be praying for the transition for Lily's mom that all goes well. And I look forward to seeing you (outshoot me in the can race) in April!

Thanks Bob, and I echo Mark's thoughts. I hope to make it to IN, but if I can make it to only one, it will probably be the GTA KY shoot. You should try to make it to that one too, it shouldn't be too far for you.
