Now I am in deeper poo lol. This cant be fixed with adjustable mounts because its crooked, not off center. therefore the adjustable mounts would need to be windage adjustable as well as able to swivel to allow the scope to line up straight and not crooked.
option EI gave my XL 1100 to the kid down the street for his graduation present. I use to see him all over the place with a little break barrel gun. I didn't like the XL 1100 but it was a major step up from the gun he was carrying around. He could not be happier, he brags on that gun to anybody that will listen.

clipping is pretty easy to fix...that crooked rail is nothing new, the mount recommended will have enough adjustmentto bring it inline without any trouble at all..that said still don't expect it to shoot right off. springer guns can be difficult to learn to shoot.with the difficulty going up with power rating. where to hold it, how to hold it and how looseto hold it, hold consistency and pellet sensitivity are all issues with their own learning curves.that said $300 is actually lower end for a high powered springerand these days just about anything less than a grand is more ofpreassembled kit that needs to be at partially reworked for it'spotential to start showing.forget washer and screw mods and the like, they're unsafe. the people touting them are un-experiencedand won't be there to help pay damages for the failures they are pointing you towards.

Why don't you just tweak the barrel a bit in the direction it needs to go? ........................... I'd just put the breach end in a padded vise and give the muzzle a nudge. Start small and check the result. You will likely find you will have to go past the mark and bring it back a bit.
