Benjiman trail and heavy pellets

Does anyone shoot heavy pellets through their trail with good results? I'm talking like a beeman kodiak or crow magnum. Does anyone possibly have chronograph numbers for pellets between 16 and 21 grains? I want to find a pellet that works well on squirrels. I shoot RWS super domes right now and they don't always get the job done. Especially on anything bigger than a squirrel. Any info is appreciated.

Generally for most with Spring / Ram type .22 cal AG's weights above 16 grain become Hit / Miss desirable due to velocity loss's and a more arched trajectory.
These greater weights if shot cycle remains smooth may be just fine ... Tho, if rifle is vibrating more and just seems to be less settled ? be aware your gun is talking to you in it's own language
and heed it's wants and shoot a tad lighter pellet

It's really more about shot placement than weight of the projectile. The velocity will drop way off and you will have to use a lot more elevation for shots beyond 20 yds. If the heavy pellet shoots more accurately then I say use it, but generally the weight is not the deciding factor. Shoot the pellet that hits EXACTLY where you aim and the problem is solved.....

Yes, accuracy is the key. Lots of folks have good success with the H&N FTT's. My Trail XL loves them in .22 & .25 calibers.
