Curious what you're looking for. Smoother shooting, more impact power, scarcer pellets()?
I wonder how the Trail NP would be with the .25 barrel... I've got a .22 NP XL barrel here waiting to have the breech modded to fit in the NP compression tube, also mostly for curiosity. The barrel itself is MUCH better than the stock barrel on my Trail and I'm wondering how or if the longer barrel will alter the feel of the shot cycle. You have a Venom Dusk, don't you? I just got one from a member here last week and it's a pretty sweet shooter even before a lube and tune. I REALLY like the stock too, I'm going to get the wood version to put my Trail everythingelse into. I have the wood Trail stock now and I like the look but the Venom stock really feels better at the shoulder to me.
Is it worth swapping out the 22 barrel for a .25?

Of course it's worth it, if the "it" we're talking about is the $20ish shipped for the barrel and $10 or so for a pin of pellets if you don't have them. Do it!
I think there may be more involved than just the barrel. Like the barrel sleeve cover.
