Shared a quick pic of this at the end of another post but thought I'd give it its own thread.
I recently made a plug to fill the gauge port on my Marauder's reservoir to help ease o-rings past the cutout during assembly/disassembly.
I used InstaMorph moldable plastic purchased on Amazon (possibly something similar available at your local craft store). It comes as small beads which you put in hot water and they melt together and become pliable until cool.
I actually used a chunk from a previous project but either way, place enough in the hot water to make a helper whatever size you want you just need enough to cover and fill the hole with enough of a lip outside the tube for you to hold it in place.
You need to have either the valve or the gauge block obscuring the hole inside the tube to give the plastic something to form against inside the tube. I rotated the gauge block 90* and pushed it back down the tube.
Take the soft glob of plastic, place it over the hole, press down to completely make an impression of the hole, wait for it to cool and Bob's your Uncle.
