5 gallon buckets add at least 300% accuracy at 0% the cost of a fancy lady boy chair. Proven redneck fact. Excellent man cave range Mr. Booger. All you need is a mini fridge, American flag, and a few stuffed animals on the wall to have an official slice of shooting heaven. Just promise your wife you'll come inside to shower every few months or so..
I absolutely love the shed idea. Shooting from a shed has a lot of advantages, sound muffling, weather protection, sun shade, etc. What an excellent idea. You have really planted an idea in my head now. I do not have 20 posts yet or I would post a picture of my current setup which is nothing special. Can't wait to build this thing out now!

My range is 100 yards with targets set at 25,35,45,50,55,60,65,75,85,100 yards. I plan on running wire and insulating it after she is paid off. Right now it has drop wires and a propane heater.

There is a class "Unlimited" in benchrest that would allow the electronics. Not sure if there is a class in Field Target for them .... too much FPE, or electronics might keep them out of the game?Pappy / Allan

I would like to get 2 Regal XLs one in .177 & the other in .22.The Wolf on a good day rested on a front bag and shouldered will do this at 100 yards:
How bout one of them bleeding watermelons?
Buddy if you live on the woods, forget paying for a backstop. Stack up all the logs you can find at the range you desire, set up a few stakes to keep them upright, then get a piece of cheap flat wood to attach targets to. If the shooting direction can really be ANY direction, &@?$ the backstop entirely (you lucky dog), just don't shoot anything that will ricochet back lol
Well It has been a long time coming, but I have finally moved. Here is the new back yard (although a little more brown this time of year...)https://photos.app.goo.gl/8LyZy5i8gWKRVjYl1I'll post more photos later, but what would your ideas be? I can stretch it to about 75 yards, maybe more depending on the position.
