I found that the 217 Kockouts seem to give me the best group right now. Now just to figure out what LDC to use, an Impulse air 1200 or 1350 or a Ryu....hmm

PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: New JSB Hades Monster .22 - 25.39gr« Last post by PaulFWI on Today at 09:21:13 PM »+1. I would up it to 870-900 range . It is fun to watch the energy dump on squirrels when shot at slower velocities and heavier pellets. I bought this gun for backyard pesting. For squirrels, I use a .30 Crown. Why? - The rifle (vs. bullpup) config keeps the scope low which is good for very flat trajectory close-in (early season shots are often 10Y or less). - The .30 cal is an absolute hammer on those very tough 2lb rodents. 10
Back Room / Re: So if you didn't do anything airgun related what did you do today?« Last post by maraudinglizard on Today at 09:16:10 PM »Sorted through old flatware to get ready to make welded birds and other critters. Back tires to the rider delivered today, front tires will be here tomorrow. Unleashed the ladybugs into the garden, the majority of them hung around and started chomping on the bugs in the citrus. I will do another release in a few weeks. I will set out the Green Lacewing eggs tomorrow, they will hatch out in a week or so. That will take care of the next wave of bugs. They don't migrate as much as the lady bugs do. I am hoping by the end of the summer I will have a good population of both for the next growing season. I am not a big fan of pesticides, they are expensive and a lot of times do more harm than good. I have gotten better results using mother nature.
